Avatars are once again available! You will need to edit your avatar in your User CP. We've added lots of new ones, including several from Mines of Moria, and the Rune-keeper and Warden symbols!

Having Trouble with Drakes? |

We have received reports of players having trouble with the following quests.
- A Flight of Drakes
- Midnight Raid
- Seige of Barad Morlas
These are 3 person instances that can be entered via two methods.
1 – For those with the quest open, speak with the NPC and choose “Continue Quest”. You need an Infused Garnet to do this. After the NPC takes the item from your inventory you’ll see a “travel now” option. You’ll be ready to complete the instance and receive the reward once you’re finished.

Understanding Pre-order Keys and Game Keys |

It’s come to our attention some players are having trouble sorting out their keys.
If you pre-ordered you will need to enter two keys. If you just picked up a retail copy and did not pre-order you’ll have one key.
Pre-order keys grant you the pre-order items and special pricing. You will not be able to enter Moria, level up, play the Rune-keeper or Warden classes, or enjoy the other features of Moria with this key.
Once you pick up the full retail copy of your game you’ll need to enter the key included in the box. This key unlocks all features of The Mines of Moria™ expansion.

 Patch Servers Are Open! |

Patch servers containing the updates for Mines of Moria are now open to the public! Please start your LOTRO game client to begin recieving patches. Even if you downloaded the pre-patch you will need to connect to the patch server to apply the patch files and download the latest game data files.
Remember, just because you're patched up doesn't mean you can get in. We're still performing maintenance on the game servers and are targeting a morning launch.

UPDATE 11/17/2008 21:10 - Users who were having issues patching from disc should try again. There was a temporary problem with the patch service that has been resolved.
